How to Be Fluent in English Language?

As we all know how important is this English language for this 21st century. Wherever we start the beautiful conversation in English, there are some common questions for all of us that why are you learning English? How are you learning English? Do you have any tips and tricks for learning English? Here, it depends on your answer that how you present those kinds of question's answers. If you want to know about my answer then listen, I would say like this. I would say that English is a global business language. I am learning it with patience as I believe that learning is a lifelong process, not a magic trick that happens instantly. It takes some time. So, here I have only one tip and trick, which one is, keep learning with full of your interest until you don't finally master it. It's up to you whether you say it as a magic trick or some tips and tricks of learning English. Fact is that you have to try learning English or anything as best as you can.

Furthermore, I would say that you have to learn with interest. You have to learn with the challenge. You have to learn with patience. You have to learn with eager. You have to learn with jealousy. You have to learn with goals. You have to learn with a pattern. And one more that you have to be satisfied with your outcomes, otherwise you will be depressed, bored, and feel easily tired of learning. My favourite line is that it doesn’t matter what are you doing but it really matters whether you are enjoying it or not. If you enjoy doing something, have a positive mindset, challenge yourself to do something, have belief in patience, are eager to get things done, are jealous on others who are already expert in any field, believe in goals, keep trying until you don’t get what you want, have your own ways of doing, and always motivate yourself and feel happy with your outcomes, there is nothing impossible for you. You can be whatever you want so being fluent in English is like a piece of cake.

Even if you search the same topic ‘how to be fluent in English’ in google, YouTube or on any others platform, there you might find many videos, articles with some tips and tricks. But whatever you get there, the conclusion is the same that English is a global language, we all have to learn it on a pattern and so onIt is easy but not that easy that we are thinking. It is only easy if we think it is easy. Otherwise, it always stays as a difficult part of our life. There we mostly find money-oriented people rather than social and helpful. I am not telling you not to google or search about this, I am just telling you not to be confused from them. You are the boss of yourself so question yourself what you are missing inside you rather than wasting your time on searching different things that you already know. You just ask yourself what is stopping you from not being able to be fluent in English or anything. You just understand your problem first.

My friend, if you are silently claiming that you don’t have any problem, I am here to prove you wrong as in this world nothing is perfect. Each and everything has both points one positive and another negative. Only one truth is that how is the level of those two points. We may have positive aspects more than negative aspects but sure we have both of them. If you are still confused about my positive and negative words, don't worry I am going to clarify them as well. In normally speaking we think that drug addiction, video game addiction, drinking alcohol, smoking etc. are some negative part of our human being, but there are more that we all must know. I think our anger, pride, judgmental behaviour, disrespectful behaviour, rudeness, laziness, ego, unnecessary rush, nervousness or lack of confidence, jealous behaviour, greedy behaviour etc. are also one of our main problems or our bad habits. So here, my main point is our self-control. If we all recognize all of these negative parts of our own habits and control them, we can handle things easily. Without controlling them even if we find ways of getting success in life or being fluent in English, we cannot reach our final destination. We might lose our way in the middle of our time. Because these problems are the real enemies of ourselves.

There are many people who have asked me the same question 'what should I do to learn English?' I said the same as I described above but this time a little differently. If you are serious in learning English and want to be an Expert in this language, you just start thinking in English first. If you can just create an English environment. Or if you cannot then find it somewhere. There are many English-speaking groups in social media such as Facebook, Twitter, and WhatsApp. Follow those groups there and try to communicate with as many people as you can. Don’t hesitate to request them to do English practice. If you have some questions regarding English, you can find many English teachers there so ask them immediately. On this time you can even download some English teaching application on your personal devices such as a tablet and mobile phone, where you can practice your English, especially speaking practice. Whatever you do, you just have to surround yourself by English. There you have to think in English, talk in English, write in English, and speak in EnglishI don't say you have to follow this English article page, see this newspaper, watch this movie or series. I only say do whatever you want to do, please do this in English.  For me, reading one grade English book is far better than reading something in another language, if you think that you are a serious English learner. You have to be that conscious of English that one day you start seeing English dreams.

Mainly, there are four parts in English, which are listening, reading, writing and speaking. All of them are equally important for English learners. If you ask me which one is most important among them, I already said that each and every single part of them are equally indispensable for us. Whichever part we focus most, we find this one is easier as compared to other parts. Every person knows that if we are bad at listening then we have to practice listening more. For other parts also the same. As far as I know, most of the people use to say that they can easily write, understand others’ speaking, read the text but cannot speak fluently. It is because English isn’t our mother tongue so we are not used to with this language.

On this situation, as I described in the above paragraphs, we have to practice speaking every day. We just have to force ourselves to speak in English. Then we will slowly gain speaking confidence automatically. And if there is someone weak in writing, this person also has to practise writing regularly. But in writing practice, we must find someone who can correct our writings and gives us some feedback about our mistakes. And we also have to have a clear understanding of English grammars, especially tenses. Likewise, to give reading advice, read whatever you find interesting. But if you find anything any words or any complex grammars confusing and you don’t understand them, do not leave them without knowing them. Whatever you do, you must understand the text that you are reading. Here you can see the word meaning of difficult words. Or you can ask about this confusing part to those people who you find good at English. Or you can even translate this difficult text on google into your own language. It's okay, in the beginning, it might take the time or a whole day to understand one single paragraph of some English newspapers. If you don’t give up and continue reading on this way for a couple of weeks, I bet you that you will find your improvements in English by yourself and soon you will be fluent in English, which leads you towards tremendous opportunities.

  1. hello there. It's Kate. Thank you for sharing some practical ideas of how to learn English Samir. I share the same opinion on the part that we should learn a language under our kind of preference/interest. So that, it's a good start for us to keep on going with learning step-by-step. But if I could, I would also say that (too) difficult level of the materials we use to practice is somehow useless, in my opinion. We don't have to take our energy on something that we don't need or being out of our control because that would lead to a waste of time with no fun. Basically, I mean, it would sound great to learn a new language from the authentic materials which matche well with our level of proficiency, and under the scope of the content that we are interested, especially. So that, we can, at least, engage ourselve, have fun with it, and improve gradually. Overall, this article is useful and helpful though. So many good points you hit dear!

  2. Thanks you so much for your great response, Mate. You are absolutely correct that we all have to learn English or any new things in a fun way. I also believe that if we learn something in a great way while having fun with friends with our interest, we can easily catch up things. Again thank you for your time:)
